Awesome psychelic jam album for free: http://domoband.bandcamp.com/ ,the whole album contains a vast array of influences, riffs, jams and a few cool vocals. Special mention for the closer "samsara" a true chill bomb that secretly turns into a furious stoner track.

Godflesh's "Killing Joke (2001)", they assemble their different styles and influences (notably drum'n'bass,
psychedelic and even some 90's alt rock") to craft an album that is still dark and bleak as well as massively
entertaining and superbly solid.

Colin Stetson New History Warfare Vol 2: Judges
Amazing artist and album but on this record most of the songs sound too stale compared to what Stetson delivers live and when listening there is just something missing in the production to give true life to tracks like awake on a foreign shore (whereas live it almost shreds you in pieces), hopefully next album will have a more "alive" production. Even with that said it's impossible for me to give this anything less (and nothing more either) than a solid 4.

Pretty excellent album from this godspeed side-project able to conserve the maturity and humble feel of the
godspeed atmosphere whilst feeling less obligated, more free as if the musicians were operating with no
pressure (wich is the case) so that they could freely express their ideas into this moody LP. It serves well as a
friend of F*A*infinity and captures a similar vibe but in no way will it surpass it in my eyes, then again it
doesn't feel as if it were in competion with the post-rock monolith and so should we in order to fully
appreciate such an excellent offering

Sonic Youth Smart Bar-Chicago 1985
First two minutes were really recorded on a crowd cassette (due to the recorder forgetting his job during these two minutes), thankfully after that the sound makes a transition accompanied with Kim's soft voice on a pretty good and raw sound quality. Thus begins a killer show, new drummer steve just joined the band and is playing like crazy, setlist is perfect for all those who didn't get to enjoy enough of the early SY, Gordon and Kim have passion and once you get started with the creepy distorded howls of halloween followed by the amazing Death Valley 69 you know you'll be in for a treat from beginning to end...

John Lurie, the kind a guy with as much cool as Tom Waits with whom he'll share a jail cell (Down By Law) on a crusade against the lounge world. Armed with a Saxophone and talented friends comes a very personal and at times experimental take on the class of Jazz. A.K.A: Good underground shit from New York's belly here.

Tangerine Dream Electronic Meditation
A fascinating but yet flawed debut, the first two tracks (and the last one in a certain extent but it is underdevelopped) demonstrate tangerine's inscursions in what would become ambient, the lack of synthetizers are compensated by the use of the electric guitar's most eerie sounds and the overall instrumentation is strikingly modern for it's time as well as the atmosphere and strenght emiting from the songs. in the said songs that is, the other tracks: cold smoke and ashes to ashes seem much more closer to traditionnal psychedelic but due to the production of the album the two said tracks bear cringy notes that ruin what could have been decent songs. best tracks: "Genesis" and "Journey through a burning brain" without a doubt.
