This is the biggest disappointment I have ever heard. This is not the band that released M(us)ic and it shows. Sorry Dave, change the name and then do what you want, but this is pathetic. The production is what kills this album. It's great, sort of in a polished, perfect sort of way, but the songs are so weak and the lack of amazement factor is playing a big part of my opinion. Also, tell the bassist to stop pointing at the crowd and rockstarring it up. He sucks.
(truthfully though, Rock's replacement doesn't disappoint me because he doesn't try to be Rock, he does his own thing and I dig it. Plus, who could follow in Rocks footsteps?) |
