5.0 classic
Black Sabbath Paranoid
Black Sabbath Vol. 4
Black Sabbath Sabotage
I wonder: "Why people (any Metalhead or any Black Sabbath 'fan') keep turning 'Sabotage' away?" altough, They're not so many. I suggest 'Sabotage' for its "Black atmosphere", songs just like as "Megalomania", "Don't Start To Late-Symptom Of The Universe" and "Am I Going Insane? (Radio)-The Writ" can take You away easily to a "Psychological Thriller or Paranoid Level" within your mind. For me "Black Sabbath's Kingdom" It's not only for 'Black Sabbath' to "Vol. 4", SBS and Sabotage are in there too, Enjoy it.
Derek and the Dominos Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs
Unbelievable, works likes this are made when Legends come together, Allman-Clapton found the way to put all the "Feelin'" in this album, that "Feelin'" today, It's a feature of that We know Classic Rock. There's something exclusive and special in LAOALS, You can enjoy every instrument and its personality (besides Guitars, We have a great percussion in 'I Am Yours').
Iron Maiden Powerslave
Iron Maiden Somewhere in Time
Iron Maiden Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Led Zeppelin Presence
Megadeth Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?
Ozzy Osbourne The Ultimate Sin
It's a great album, if you're a "80's Lover" (Yes, I'm talkin' 'bout: Poison, Ratt, Mötley Crüe, Guns N' Roses, Skid Row etc.) or simply you're 'indulgent' with this Rock-era, You'll have no problem with this album. Lyrics are simply wonderful, altought, Ozzy shows himself as "80's Glam Metal Icon", He was really so far of that (a fool who just matters "Sex, Drugs & Rock N' Roll") You can see that in: "Secret Loser", "Killer Of Giants" and "Thank God For The Bomb". rBut, You cannot hide or ignore all the tracks on the album: "Lightning Strikes", "Never Know Why", "Never" and "Fool Like You". There are, they're 'poppy' and 'Hair' and You cannot change that... So, just enjoy'em or skip'em. Anyway, a great job by Ozzy and Jake E. LeerPD: I remember the first time when I heard "Shot In The Dark" in concert, It's an EPIC MOMENT! See Ozzy Osbourne in concert it's just an experience that no-one (Metalheads) should miss out.
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd The Wall
Rush Moving Pictures
Talking Heads Remain in Light
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

4.5 superb
AC/DC Back In Black
Asia Asia
First album of a "Super-group", Pop, 'Cheesy' and all the details that you want to give it
but It's a great album. Remembering where They come (Yes, King Crimson, ELP, Atomic Rooster
etc.) Otherwise, They have a magnificent performance in concert. I've seen them and Its
unbelievable to see how Carl Palmer can play a Drum Solo with his hands.
Coldplay A Rush of Blood to the Head
In 20 years ahead this album might be classified as "classic" without a problem. Even if not all the songs are super hits as "The Scientist" or "Clocks", they get to the point and make you vibe.
Cream Disraeli Gears
A masterpiece, fine Blues rythm along with psychedelic lyrics (without mention its great cover) and you get the feelin' for "Disralei Gears". Essential for any Rocker.
David Bowie The Best Of David Bowie 1969-1974
Iron Maiden The Number of the Beast
Iron Maiden Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden Piece of Mind
Iron Maiden Killers
Judas Priest Defenders of the Faith
catchy songs, but, Awesome songs! I think that many of them were wrote for a Live Performances, and, People must be see this album such as this respect to this sound ("Eat Me Alive", "The Sentinel" and "Heavy Duty/Defenders Of The Faith" in concert if You have the remastered release). 2nd or 3rd place in "80s Judas Priest" podium, but, even so, Greatful.
King Crimson Discipline
King Crimson In the Court of the Crimson King
A Prog jewel.rOn the very first song you can realise the wide range of instruments and effect that very well mixed among them thanks to a fine productions give to the album a fine Avant-Garde mark. Wind instruments are far from the rest of the instruments the leaders into this album, which can make you think in Folk roots when listening to it.rYou can find the best possible intro on "Epitaph", a tuneful combination of slow tempo with strong instruments. First impression of delicate but firm lyrics "Knowledge is a deadly friend if no one sets the rules. The fate of all mankind I see Is in the hands of fools.? on Moonchild you appreciate the balance because it's the turn for the guitar with his smooth entry to lead the course of the song. Poetic lyrics that recalls the 60s because his remembrance of the anthropomorphic myth of feminine magic that moon has.rNot too much too said that hasn't been said before about "The Court", maybe throughout the years I just close my eyes and try to imagine the most intense red colour that I might have seen in my life to associate it with the court of the Crimson King, maybe that colour could be the red of "Metropolis" a paint by George Grosz.rIn the end, musically for me this album deserves a 4.28/5 but having on mind the impact that it has in the history of Prog Rock it's impossible to deny its superb legacy: 4.5.
Pink Floyd The Division Bell
The Division Bell it's the prove of a perfect Jam and 'connection' with the past, and great effort to get it back ('The Dark Side Of The Moon' and 'Animals' sound), besides, It was the 'good way' to say Good-bye to all of us, Lyrics (in some songs) are simply but imposing. Maybe You'd like some songs more if You hear its 'PULSE Version'. I suggest: "What Do You Want From Me", "Poles Apart" and "Wearing The Inside Out".
Queen Queen
It's so hard for me don't rate each QUEEN album with a 5/5 (Really, I Love all their discography, even "Hot Space"). But, I have to do an effort to remember the first time when I could hear whole album, in that way, I can give an objective opinion for every work. Always (or almost always) I think that You need to have some "requirements" to hear for a first time anything, In this case You need to have heard "Led Zeppelin I" or "Led Zeppelin II" to get some kind of 'comprehension' of this album. You would like: "Keep Yourself Alive" or "Liar".rAltought, You must remeber that before 1973, QUEEN was the 'invited artist' in Yes' shows, so, They applied some "Progressive" details in their songs, as well as: "My Fairy King" and "Mad The Swine". In any way, enjoy this album, maybe It's not the best album to begin to know about QUEEN, but when You discover "70's QUEEN" You'll love this.
Rush Fly by Night
In the first track first impression that goes to your mind, is: Neil Peart, his influence and legacy started there, in "Anthem", a great opener for this, Progressive sound fills within your mind, Geddy's high pitch and Alex's versatility can change your opinion if You started Rush up with "Rush" (1974) or reaffirm it if Your 'first contact' was "Moving Pictures" or something like that. Altough 'Working Man' had already done, 'By-Tor And The Snow Dog' reached the goal taking You away to another scene. Nothing to say about the main theme, It's just a Classic, every person must hear it and give a particular mean to it. In the same way for "Rivendell". FBN, It's the prove of perfect combination between Powerful/Prog Melodies with an intricate Guitar/Drums work.
Simon and Garfunkel Bookends
The Police Zenyatta Mondatta
It has influences of Punk/Reggae roots, but, this is the solidest album in sound by The Police career unic in his "New Wave" genre.
The Smiths The Smiths

4.0 excellent
Genesis Selling England by the Pound
Genesis ...And Then There Were Three...
Judas Priest Screaming for Vengeance
Easy: Excellent album, Maybe best 80's Judas Priest album. A great legacy that They leave
for us, incredible performance in concert (Priest Cross Curtain before the beginning of the
show It's an example of that). I suggest: "Screaming For Vengeance", "Fever" and
"Bloodstone".
Megadeth So Far, So Good... So What!
Ozzy Osbourne Blizzard of Ozz
Paul McCartney McCartney
The story behind this album maybe is more interesting than the music of the album itself. Troubles with Allen Klein and the other members give you a light of what was The Beatles suffering.
Pink Floyd The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
TPATGOD It's in the Top when somebody talks about "Psychodelic Rock", so far away to The Beatles (Sgt's Pepper) respect of mature and creativity and maybe at the same Level of Gretful Dead or Zappa.
Pink Floyd A Saucerful of Secrets
Superb, keep on the line of "The Piper At Gates Of Down", this album takes you to another atmosphere. Hear "Live At Pompei" and You'll see what I'm talkin' 'bout.
Pink Floyd A Momentary Lapse of Reason
R.E.M. Document
Rush A Farewell to Kings
Rush Rush
It has Hard Rock Roots, (yeah, certainly Zeppelin, Purple, Cactus etc.) but It sounds good with many guitar solos that shows Alex's power and ability, not too Prog but "Working Man" is a great 'overture' to their future with "Fly By Night".
The Police Reggatta de Blanc
The Who Tommy
Great album, there are many songs that people should know (more than "Pinball Wizard"). But, It's so hard to "understand" If you didn't see the movie before, You'll enjoy alot.
Thin Lizzy Thunder and Lightning
It's a prophetic album, who would imagine that Phil would die some months after its release? Dark
and deep at the beginning and then you find some cheesy songs but it's not that bad, even those
'poppy' songs have guitar solos.
U2 Rattle and Hum
U2 October

3.5 great
Black Sabbath Never Say Die!
I didn't find this album "annoying" (Many people refer this album in that form), It's true: Black Sabbath was having problems with Drugs and Alcohol (specially Ozzy and Bill Ward) and these problems affected their work (specifically their inspiration). But in my opinion, this work it's only a desperate attempt to come back to their 'Roots' (In any interview, Tony and Ozzy said that 'Black Sabbath' wasn't a Heavy Metal album really, It was just a Blues album with some changes in lyrics and pitches, They thought that 'Truly Roots of Heavy Metal' was in LED ZEPPELIN). Then, Don't be so 'cruel' with this, It was made thinking about 'Blues and Synthesized Sound' for that reason, It deserves just a 3.5
David Bowie The Best Of 1974-1979
David Bowie The Best Of 1980-1987
Iron Maiden Fear of the Dark
It's a change from NPFTD, and a 'Returning' for the True Maiden Roots, good album, maybe It take a little bit of time for grow up in you.
Judas Priest Ram It Down
It's a great album, with a great opener song (Ram It Down), altought Iy may sounds 'annoying' or 'cheesy' in the early. It turns out better at the end ("Blood Red Skies", "I'm A Rocker" and "Monsters Of Rock").
Oasis (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
Quite repetitive to me, perhaps a masterpiece for somebody else. Not a bad album but it still misses something.
Supertramp Even In the Quietest Moments
If Roger was the big star on "Crime On The Century", the credits for saving this album for failure with great lyrics and delicate piano moments is Rick Davies with "Downstream" or "Lover Boy".
Talking Heads Fear of Music
U2 Boy

3.0 good
Iron Maiden No Prayer for the Dying
Megadeth Cryptic Writings
A simply and "colorless" album (Just like its cover), not bad but definitely not superb. If
you just heard "Trust" and "She-Wolf" and thought "WOW There must be more good songs" You'll
get disappointed. Lyrics aren't "Mustaine Trademark" just like in PSBWB?, RiP or even
SFSG...SW. This album just shows the hard moment wich Mustaine was through because of Drugs
and this kind of stuff along with his Rehab ("Use The Man", "Sin" and "A Secret Place").

2.5 average
Black Sabbath Headless Cross
It's hard begin and finish this album keeping your mind in it, lyrics are good but sometimes
They're so 'fantasious' that makes it annoying, maybe Cozy's Drums Work catches You,
although Tony Martin aren't a bad singer, his work in 'Headless Cross' ain't something out
of this world. Average point in Black Sabbath career.
Genesis From Genesis to Revelation
Genesis We Can't Dance
I don't think that even Genesis' die hard fans like so much this album, I'm SO open-mind when a band have changes in his career (members, sound, lyrics etc.) I don't matter so much if They sound Pop or Progressive, but, definitely "We Can't Dance" is (in my opinion) the worst album in Phil Collins-Genesis' career (If You got the idea). Ballads might catch You and Poppy songs that don't have many sense too. But the rest of album has a 'strange mix up' between "Pop and Progressive" sound. I'm still prefering 80's albums ("Abacab" and "Invisible Touch"). songs as JHKM and NSOM might 'fool' Amateur listeners that think this album would be great.
