Anyway, this is the greatest metalcore release in history. As great as Jane Doe is, it really doesn't stand up against the controlled fury of this release.Burial Untrueyou listen to Burial's second album, Untrue for the first time and your first thought is, r"what the hell is this boring garbage?" it's just some minimal electronic beats over a choir like synth and some guy repeating the same 4 lines over and over again. For the most part, this is what the rest of the album is like as well. But if you take a minute to try to see that the music is more than just the sum of its parts, that there is something that you can't get out of it just looking at face value, you begin to catch a glimpse of what Will Bevan had in mind when he recorded this album. This is music to wander around the streets in the dead of night to and it is the finest piece of electronica ever recorded. I first heard this when I started listening to punk, which I thought meant Offspring and Bad Religion. Tom Kalnoky is the best lyricist since Bob Dylan and the band plays with an energy and an air of experience that belies how young the band was when they recorded this.
