Agalloch The Mantle |
Elegiac, melancholic music at its most intense. Listening to "The Mantle" makes you inevitably think of roaming through deserted, snow-covered woods. Very folk inspired, with lots of acoustic guitars, phenomenal raspy and clean singing, poetic lyrics, and great production. Currently my favorite CD. |

Boards of Canada In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country |
Boards of Canada seem to have tapped into my fragmented childhood memories and delivered a magical and nostalgic soundtrack full of airy warmth. Simply beautiful. |

Peter Gabriel Up |
"Up" needs to be explored, it requires repeated listening to fully appreciate it, but it definitely will grow on you. It is Peter Gabriels best work up to date: dark in places, yet uplifting. Multilayered and deep. Hauntingly beatuiful. |

Talk Talk Spirit of Eden |
Without a hint of pretension, Talk Talk create challenging music for open minded people that will pay one back after repeated listenings. Unsurpassed cathartic, raw and powerful, but at the sime time soothing and relaxing. Music for the Soul. |
