Relient K Forget and Not Slow Down
By far Relient K's best album to date. Almost everything about it is matured from their previous albums. The guitars sound clearer, the vocals sound better, and the lyrics are also serious this time around, which is a huge plus. Overall, the album is a great catchy album, that comes across as a lot more mature than their older releases. Anyone who passed over Relient K before because they were just an inexperienced pop punk band should definitely give this album a try.

Demon Hunter The World Is a Thorn
This is still enjoyable Demon Hunter, but it really falls short of their earlier releases, most notably Summer Of Darkness. The whole direction of The World Is A Thorn really doesn't work too well. Demon Hunter tried to make it heavier, faster, more aggressive, and more technical, and sure, it in some ways succeeds to do all of those things, but it sounds forced and it sounds like Demon Hunter is trying to be something they're not. They had a killer distinct sound on all of their albums before Storm The Gates Of Hell, now they've completely ruined that sound all for the sake of being "heavier". There's quite a bit of forgettable songs, and all of the ballads are shockingly weak. This isn't a terrible album, but they completely messed up their sound, and this is far from their best work.
