| A Textbook Tragedy Rain City State of Mind - EP |
| Akala Freedom Lasso |
With the exception of 'Comedy Tragedy History', the first half of the album is very poor. However, the second half beginning with 'Where I'm From' is some of his best work to date. A very mixed album, but definately worth a listen.
Edit: Album grows on you like crazy. Love In My Eyes still sucks, but otherwise a very strong and catchy album. |

Some of the strongest songs the band made recorded to date, with perhaps a little too much
filler. Recommended tracks - Reverie Shores, A Great Man & Pantheon. |

A fantastic performance containing many of the bands' best. Some strange absences, including
My Twin and anything from the Last Fair Deal Gone Done album. Nevertheless, Jonas sounds
wonderful live, and the screams sound even better than the recorded versions. Highlights
include July and Ghost of the Sun. |

| Let's Talk Daggers Blankets EP |
| Make Defeater less serious and Throats less murderous, and you get Let's Talk Daggers. A huge step up from their previous EP, Blankets is a fantastic way to make hardcore fun. The EP is adventurous (3D Rug), catchy (Footnotes), and heavy (Raina). Highly recommended. |

| A much simpler album, but works really well for the most part. 'Elongo' is the best track on the record, and one of their best songs to date. The usual pretty stuff is found in 'May You Be The Road' and 'Mountain Top'. 'No One Moves, No One Gets Hurt' is dull, but a very solid album overall. |

| Jurassic 5 Jurassic 5 LP |
| Katatonia July |
| Katatonia The Longest Year |
The Longest Year is a fantastic song from Night Is The New Day, and Sold Heart is a
beautiful addition to the latest Katatonia collection. The remixes are nothing special
however, and fail to live up to the quality of the originals. The EP will be released in a
re-release of NITND, along with the fantastic Swedish bonus track, Ashen. It will be well
worth getting this when it becomes available. |
| Let's Talk Daggers Two Pence Spent |
Great EP from an unsigned band in the UK. 5 tracks and only 9 minutes, it's fast and
unpredictable. |
| Lovers Grave Deadcity |
An great stand-in for those disappointed with the latest Architects release. Songs are
catchy and heavy, and as an EP it is short enough not to get repetitive. Only let down by
its poor production, otherwise a very solid effort. It will be interesting to hear the first
full length. |
