Aerosmith Get Your Wings
Aerosmith Toys in the Attic
Aerosmith Rocks
Few albums have been so defining and yet so understimated as "Rocks". rIt did as much for electric guitar in the late 70's as "Nevermind" influenced people since the 90's.rVan Halen, Bon Jovi, Guns n' Roses and so many other bands wouldn't be the same without this album, an absolute timeless classic .
Aerosmith Pump
If "Rocks" defined hard-rock guitar playing in the 70's, "Pump" took hard-rock albums to a new level, where hits met a new artistic height for the ultimate 70's American band.
Where "Done with Mirrors" meant the get-back-together, and "Permanent Vacation" the back-in-shape, "Pump" signified Aerosmith's greatest album since the aforementioned "Rocks" and probably their last classic to date.
Yes, they've been more commercially succesful than this ("Get a Grip") and far more experimental ("Get Your Wings", "Rocks") but surely "Pump" delivers better than all those good ole Aerosmith's trademark hard-rock.
Aerosmith Big Ones
Aerosmith Gems
The ultimate Aerosmith 70's classics album. This album has it all (What? You wanted "Dream On" included for the 100th time?) for those who enjoyed Aerosmith dirty, sleazy guitar rock. Better levelled than Greatest Hits and but not as abarcative as Pandora's Box or Devil's got a new disguise; this is THE album for the 70's AEROSMITH fan and definitely a must for any hard-rock lovers.

Pappo's Blues Volumen III
In my opinion, this is Pappo's 70's masterpiece. Few albums had sounded so heavy by this time (1973). It shows Pappo's writing skills improvement ("Sucio y desprolijo") and a astonishing capacity for summarizing his ideas (the band's ideas) into 27 minutes and a half (!!). This is a must for guitar players, no matter what country you're from.

A more than accomplished live performance (or group of performances) by the infamous MKIV.
Half of it comes from a 1975 concert at the Budokan, Japan and the the other half is from a
1976 Longbeach concert. Even if the Japan concert does not really show the best of Tommy
Bolin (he had fallen asleep on his hand hence not being able to move it much) the overall
band performance is outstanding. Particularly so for a band which would eventually (and less
than 6 months later) disband for 8 years.A great live album for MKIV, a higly underrated
Purple incarnation.

Kaiser Chiefs Employment
Kaiser Chiefs Yours Truly, Angry Mob
A new classic of this era. The british indie-pop kings deliver one strong effort, proving they were more than just a hit ("Everytime I love you less and less") by bringing us another BIGGER hit ("Ruby"). Great album.

Pappo's Blues Volumen IV
Another very good effort by Pappo. Still, his (later legendary) lack of focus in projects he thought dead was becoming visible -Note: Pappo became famous for his hiperactivity which made him have bands in Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Germany and the Uk-
Not his best work, but far from being a bad album. In the end, not many artists could've come up with another Volumen III.
Pappo's Blues Volumen II
An absolute classic album. Pappo's playing has nothing to envy Hendrix's. All of these tracks are classics in Argentina. It was the first BIG album by Pappo's Blues... and luckily, not the last.

Van Halen The Best of Both Worlds
Despite of the arguable decission of alterning Hagar's era with David Lee Roth's, this album sums up almost to perfection what Van Halen was in the 80's and late 70's for young rockers.

Pappo's Blues Volumen I
A good first album for Pappo and his band. It has many ambitious ideas and tremendous songs. Its a shame the budget for making this record wasn't so big (it shows in the audio quality). Even so, this album sets Pappo's career on the right track: kick ass guitar playing, rock attitude and a noticeable devotion for blues.

Even though it contains all of the hits, plus b-sides, rarities and other strong album tracks, this compilation doesn't fully apply for an "anthology". Pappo's Blues Volumen V
It was 1974 and Pappo kept flying back and forth to Europe. It was then when he became influenced by European 70's hard-rock, and this album is good proof of that. The album has -maybe- one weak track (the final one, where theres mostly acoustic guitars and some ghouly voices in the back...), and no Classics. It's a rather even work. But then again, THAT could be the problem.

Aerosmith Nine Lives
Probably one of Aerosmith's weakest efforts. Only a couple of good songs (the titel track, Perry's "Falling Off", "Attitude adjustment" and maybe "Taste of India") could make you buy the record ( Aerosmith fans like me would buy it anyway), but the rest is forgettable.

Only a couple of good moments in this quite long cd (over 70 mins!). But clearly, Prince works better on his own.

Despite of the awesome covers the 4 solo albums had (well, most Kiss' 70's album covers were superb) this effort is by far the worst Kiss released from 74' to 82. There's little hard-rock here. Pure lameish rock 'n roll, tacky ballads and soul (with little "soul" and lots of "yawnings")
