this is probably the best thing McCartney has done in a long time...This and Chaos and Creation in the Back Yard will go down as some of his best works. I like that he took some chances musically...threw in some ambience, went back to rocking out - Helter Skelter style. The result is an album that is very diverse yet still holds true to McCartney's simplistic lyrics. Normally, his "June with a spoon" rhyming style can be tedious (see everything he did in the 80's and 90's) and uncomfortable to listen to... Lately - while he didn't do as great on Memory Almost Full - he seems to have found a perfect medium. The music has to compliment his silly rhymes. Well done Macca!
