| The album IS a classic in many ways and influenced the pseudo-subgenre of "depressive black metal," however the vocals destroy what could have been a beautiful album. The album is macabre and dark with beautiful ambiet and somewhat experimental parts, but the vocals sound like a cat being strangled and the album suffers for this. |
