Rosetta A Determinism of Morality
This is a more focused Rosetta. With this album it shows they are happy with their 'space metal' sound. It has left them with the time to tweak their dynamics to add some differentiations. Such as nice chunky riffing to close the track 'Je N'en Connais Pas La Fin', incorporating some clean vocals on 'Release' and in between throwing in a melancholic instrumental 'Blue Day For Croatoa'. Not one track on here is out of place or boring.rThis is Rosetta's best work to date.

The Butterfly Effect The Butterfly Effect
Maybe the best EP in the world. Probably the best thing The Butterfly Effect will ever release. Some parts of this album would make the Deftones all jealous. Maybe Chi got put in a coma because of this album. Who knows, But get well Chi.
Either way, I don't hate any song off this EP. Far better than their latest by about 386 points.
The Coma Recovery Drown That Holy End in Wine
Album is good. Takes a bit to sink in but when it does it's a great thing. They're basically God Is An Astronaut going post-hardcore. Beneath One Silent Orchestra is so epic.
The Evpatoria Report Maar
This album is so good if you give it time. Post-rock genius in parts that ranges from ethereal, uplifting to depressing and calming. Dar Now is an absolute masterpeice that shows how much this band is capable of. Hopefully these guys join the ranks of the best "epic" post-rock (songs that gain as much notoriety from inventive acts like GY!BE and range from 10/20 minutes in length) with future releases.

This black metal album is quite catchy. The production is very tight for a black metal release. It also touches upon the post-metal/post-rock euphoric highs to good success.

Eminem Recovery
This is the first album where he attempts to go back to the 'shady'ness of his first two LP's. He still isn't quite there as there are a few tracks out of place and a couple that should of just been dropped. A better track ordering would benefit this album, as would a shortening of it. The accent is mostly gone, but some of the pop sensibilities are still around. You won't find a 'Stan', 'Under The Influence', 'My Name Is' or 'Guilty Conscience' on here, but what you will find is solid. It's hopefully a stepping stone to reperfecting his infamous style.

Fear Factory Demanufacture
Fear Factory Archetype
Fear Factory Obsolete
Fear Factory Mechanize
Fear Factory just became relevant again. With Dino's signature sound and Rhys on production they brought back the old Fear Factory while creating something heavier than any previous effort besides Soul Of A New Machine. Burton is Burton, Always good. Dino is Dino, Always Dino. Gene is sick, and keeps the signature FF beat while throwing some Gene blast beats in like a boss. Byron is great on bass too, it's even audiable occasionally, woo.
Fear Factory are back, It'll be cool for you to like them again now so you can stop hiding. MECHANIZEEEEEE MECHANIZZEEE MECH CAN FUCKING EYES.
Five Star Prison Cell Slaves of Virgo
Love these guys. Their music reminds me when I was in the brisbane metal scene kicking ass with bands like Lynchmada, Dream Killers, Preference etc etc. These guys fucking rule live, if you're in Melbourne (or anywhere else where they tour) go out and see them if you get the chance.

Wow. This is amazing. You can still hear the Cult Of Luna influence, but they've expanded their horizons. If you even mildly enjoyed their last effort I suggest to grab this since it's better. Just imagine a watered down Cult Of Luna with clean vox.

This shit is so groovy, it's got me tapping my foot and nodding my head each spin. A whole bunch of groove-cake with a post-rock icing. If there was a vote for best bass in a post-rock album, you would have to expect this to be up there.

Violin driven post-rock. It's not groundbreaking and it follows same standard post-rock techniques. However, since it's violin driven it does give off a different feel and can be refreshing if you listen to a lot of post-rock.
