James AlbumBarcelona AbsolutesThis is an amazing album. I scored a free copy after one of their shows, and have been listening to it ever since. It is melodic and forceful, and holds a certain appeal for me that I haven't heard for a while. Something about it sounding like the many-way love child of Death Cab for Cutie, The Fray, and a few other assorted bands. If you enjoy indie rock, then I can say with confidence that you will not be disappointed by this album.Dispatch Bang BangJack Johnson Brushfire FairytalesJack's Mannequin Everything in TransitJosh Ritter The Animal YearsJosh Ritter The Historical Conquests of Josh RitterJosh Ritter Hello StarlingModest Mouse Good News for People Who Love Bad NewsModest Mouse The Lonesome Crowded WestMotion City Soundtrack Commit This to MemoryReel Big Fish Turn the Radio OffSherwood A Different LightStreetlight Manifesto Somewhere in the BetweenThe Who Who's NextYellowcard Ocean Avenue4.0 excellentblink-182 Enema Of The StateColdplay Viva la Vida or Death and All His FriendsDeath Cab for Cutie PlansDispatch Silent SteeplesDonavon Frankenreiter Donavon FrankenreiterDream Theater Train of ThoughtDream Theater Six Degrees of Inner TurbulenceDream Theater OctavariumMotion City Soundtrack I Am the MovieMotion City Soundtrack Even If It Kills MeWhile not quite a classic album, Even If It Kills Me is certainly a standout in today's endless ocean of utter crap. Motion City Soundtrack takes a slightly poppier turn with this new album, but it stays true to its style of frenzied punk influenced rock. (I don't straight out call it punk, because I call the Ramones, old Green Day, and Blink-182 punk. This does not sound like them.) Even If It Kills Me is an album filled with fast-paced songs with catchy tunes and thoughtful lyrics. Motion City Soundtrack was already a band deserving of more recognition, and this album really makes you wonder why the hell Fall Out Boy is popular and these much more talented guys aren't.OK Go Oh NoRise Against The Sufferer and the WitnessSomething Corporate NorthSomething Corporate Leaving Through The WindowStreetlight Manifesto Everything Goes NumbThe Postal Service Give UpThe Shins Oh, Inverted WorldThe Shins Wincing the Night AwayThird Eye Blind Third Eye Blind3.5 great+44 When Your Heart Stops BeatingColdplay A Rush of Blood to the HeadFlobots Fight with ToolsG.
