Not really Black Metal. There are elements now and again, but not really overall. More Ill say Death metal/Satanic Rock. Mabye a bit of Gore Core or Grind? Hmm its really hard to put it down. Great record if you wanted something more thrashier and traditional than everyones fav "I sold out!" super commerical metal band, Cradle Of Filth.

Okay............
I have the DVD, why do I need the CD?
Bonus Songs? No
HA! This CD should of came WITH THE DVD (as well as 1 or 2 bonus songs) and then it would of been passable. But for the price it's asking in Sydney right now...it's more expensive than the DVD!

I commented on the other review on this record. But for kicks and because I think the last review will fade...here it is again for everyone.
Josh needs to call up his friends....
The Phone Convo
Josh *Hey you guys! Its Joshy. So whats up? Good yeah Brodies great and so the kid. So hey, Dave (Grohl) can you drop by my place tonight and help me write a couple of songs and jam on the drums for a while?.
Dave *Oh yeah hey dude, yeah no probs. Hey Jack (Black) is over my house can he come too and just start some funny **** for us? Might be good for a laugh hey? Haha*
Jesse (Huges EODM) * (In the background, pissed on beer as always) Hey Hey you guys! how about me? I can play some...thing too! Hey what the ****?!*
Josh *Haha! Yeah come over and we'll play a bit for my new record Era Vulgaris..then we can throw down a huge party and just have alot of freaking fun, yeah?*
Dave *Sweet Ill see you in a bit. Jack, come on lets go!*
Jesse *Beer!!!*
a month later, Era Vulgaris is the number 1 record all over the world, creating a new genre called Hard Rock/Comedy metal. The funnest and fun filled rock record to come out in the last decade. Foo Fighters break up and Dave is the drummer full time. Jack makes another piss funny movie called My Best Friend Joshy and Jesse is still pissed, but manages to get married again and owns half of Yemen. Success!

1.5 very poor
Fall Out Boy Infinity on High
Hilary Duff Most Wanted
My Chemical Romance The Black Parade Is Dead!
compared the the superb and excellent Life On The Murder Scene, with it's massive amount of special features including live footage, backstage footage, an hour long plus tour diary video, more special features, making of music clips, all the 3 Cheers music clips and topped off with the really good live CD as a bonus really makes it crush and burn this "new" MCR DVD. Save your pennies and go find Life On The Murder Scene, it's about a 100,000,000 times worth it. Even the menu animation on this DVD is boring, left to simple slide transitions you would find on the Window's Movie Maker. Boring and lame.
Slipknot Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses

1.0 awful
