Almost nothing gets me like this one does. Tyler Joseph pours out his heart, soul, and
neurosis, giving us one of the better experimental pop records that I know of.
Ween The Mollusk
Just one of those little things where they smash their head on the keyboard and create a
gorgeous chord no one's ever heard before LET'S BE FOREVER LET FOREVER BE

The Smith Street Band Throw Me in the River
Between the numerous and somewhat excessive profanities there is a heartfelt but bold and upbeat album that almost flawlessly captures the brutal sincerity of a punk life.
The Strokes Is This It
Twenty One Pilots Regional At Best
Twenty One Pilots Vessel
Typhoon (USA-OR) White Lighter
Vampire Weekend Vampire Weekend
Say what you will, but there's no denying that Vampire Weekend's debut is a grabber and doesn't let go until the end.
Vampire Weekend Modern Vampires of the City
Wilco Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
With lots of bells and whistles. Literal bells and whistles.

4.0 excellent
Anberlin Never Take Friendship Personal
Anberlin New Surrender
I was actually shocked by how consistently on par with Cities this album was. New Surrender, while not quite overtaking Cities as my favorite Anberlin album, totally blew away my expectations. I just thought that the lack of overall cohesion and a couple of lackluster tracks kept this one from becoming an all time classic.

Smooth, groovy, and stylish. Daft Punk truly make disco nu with this record, and dang, it sounds good.

Modest Mouse The Moon & Antarctica
Modest Mouse Good News for People Who Love Bad News
This album changed music for me. I don't think I've looked at rock music the same way since I gave this one a listen.
Muse Black Holes & Revelations
Needtobreathe The Heat
I really enjoy this one. The songs are both insanely catchy and at the same time worth listening to. "Washed By The Water" is one of Needtobreathe's best songs ever. A couple of skip tracks place this one below The Outsiders, though. I think "Moving On" deserves more credit than it gets.
