You have to take this album for what it is--fun, catchy, hook-laden pop. If you go into this album expecting a deep, technical punk release, you're going to be disappointed. But if you expected very immature lyrics, infectious (albeit recycled) hooks, and simple riffs, you're going to enjoy it.

Brand New The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
The sheer emotional weight is immense, even if I can't completely appreciate the album as a whole--I can only rimagine what it would be like if I felt the connection much of the userbase does with this album. But simply, rthe melodies don't hold up throughout; there are glimpses of brilliance, like with the massive opener Sowing rSeason and the nearly 8-minute dirge Limousine. But for the most part, the album falters because of its length rand dullness, especially in the latter half. It's not a bad album at all, just ridiculously overrated. It's somewhat rsolid, but can't hold up as a great album in its almost-an-hour runtime. This seems exactly like the sort of ralbum I would like, so it's a big disappointment for me really. Hopefully one day it will click.
