5.0 classic
Superheaven Dispirit
Superheaven Jar
Definitely will go down as a classic in contemporary punk music. With the new wave of grunge revival in the emo/punk scene many bands who have releases in this vain seemed to be lacklustre. This is probably the best effort I've heard, yet. No song is a skipper, all songs flow succinctly. The album conquered an ambivalence I had about it. I still don't think 'In On It' was the most appropriate song to promote this album though.

4.0 excellent
Superheaven Sinking
Turnover Magnolia
A cool release. A highly anticipated one for me, although I feel it didn't have the energy that I felt in their S/T ep or even the song they released, 'Most of the Time'. Saying that it's a great emo release and I love the direction these guys took as opposed to the former pop punk vibe they had, purely, but it's nice how they incorporated some faster sections in songs like Wither. I like the ultimately waltz-y rhythm of the release, it makes the songs seem like an almost morose lullaby. rSaying that, I feel the tracklist lacks structure as the tracks seem to be just 'thrown in'. Still a solid release.

3.0 good
Citizen Youth
Didn't live up to my anticipation, but saying that it is a strong first album. I like the matured sound they went for, very reflective of Brand New circa "The Devil and God" and "Daisy". Top 3 songs for me are 'The Summer', 'Roam The Room' and 'You Misplaced Your Head'. I don't see how this release is anywhere close to Daylight's 'Jar', both individually great. I love the production, Will Yip is my new favourite producer.
Superheaven The Difference In Good and Bad Dreams
The Knife Shaking the Habitual
An alright release, a lot of it sounds like Bjork rip-offs and can sound dull and vapid in some spots, especially with songs like A Tooth For An Eye, though some songs are resounding in that they get stuck in your head - for me anyway. One of those is Full of Fire, which got me anticipated for this release as it's imagery seemed to renact a scene from Enter The Void or some dazed trip.
