Virtuosic harsh fuckin superb boom bap beats, really really really nice sociaty kicking lyrics and his cool voice alongside with really great flow...Feeling a strong 4.5 to light 5... Just kidding but it's another diamond in El-P collection, sounds like classic material to me now, hope it will sound the same in future

This album is dystopian sonic assault on both the psyche and the eardrums, and El proves that once again, he's up there with the best of them in terms of lyrical ability, and production quality. In fact he might BE the best of them in terms of combining the two aspects of his game. This is a classic, it should not only be mentioned as one of the albums of the year but one of the best works of science fiction of the year. But perhaps there's not that much fiction here...

This is El-p fully realizing every good idea he's ever had, culminating in one of the greatest hip hop albums I've listened to. He perfects his flow, lyrics, and creates more accessible yet more atmospheric and mood building beats than anything he's done. The album is a moving trip through one of the most well crafted concepts recorded. He's really just showing off at this point.

El-P throws down some choice beats, and his wordplay and flow have never sounded better
here. Though some things work better than others, it's still a solid release, and a more
than worthy successor to ISWYD.

On Cancer 4 Cure, El-P puts out some decent rhymes with some great production on what is yet another good hip-hop release in 2012. With interesting lyrics and wordplay, El-P doesn't disappoint with his mic skills. The production on here is also good, but I feel it wasn't near the production he had on Killer Mike's release. There are a lot of positives on this, but there also are some negatives to deal with. Although the song The Full Retard is one of my favorite songs of the year, most tracks on here don't really stick out to me, which is a bit of a problem for this release. Another problem was (other than Danny Brown) the guest rappers often disappointed me. Overall, a good release by an artist I can't wait to watch grow.
