Nothing here you wouldn't expect, but darker, some outlier of synth-pop and freak folk culled from random (check the website: myanimalhome.net), made to reason.
Animal Collective continues on their collaborative path with Danny Perez and furthers the experimental vibe given off with ODDSAC into a complete and utter soundscape of madness and beauty that is both off-putting and gorgeous.
This EP has great spacey moments. The Deep voice midway into part two is rather chilling
with headphones. My only gripe is that some of the passages stretch on a little bit too
long. Doesn't really hurt the experience, but there will be a few moments where you will
find yourself thinking "ok, on with it".
