In regards to ashesofman's comment, the "New Light" EP is a compilation of acoustic-based
remixes of some of Moving Mountains more popular songs. "Best of" albums typically feature
nothing new, save for a B-side track or two; this album is a different take on already
existing material. Honestly, I doubt that this release or any of their other releases are
going to provide them with a large influx of profits -- considering that they're a
relatively underground group. In any case, this release offers a non-abrasive sound that a
diverse audience could enjoy.
This band is too young to be releasing "best of" compilations. I can't stand when bands choose to reissue old material in order to make more money. This release shows you what kind of people the musicians in Moving Mountains are. I am a big fan of their two LPs, but this kind of behavior is a big deterrent.
