Proof that you don't have to reinvent the wheel to write tight, memorable, and evocative music. The quality of the songs on this EP are consistently excellent, with The Frame III being only a slight dip in quality in the middle.
The EP as a whole is a solid listen, but the production feels too pressed on, causing it too lack any warmth or life. Some times, the drums sound thin and sapped of energy. Even though the sounds are sharp enough to overlook, the overly crisp, and trebly tone becomes a problem in some areas.
