SGM's catalog displays an avant garde approach that although cool as hell ultimately overshadows the exquisite songwriting to which is should be correlated. Being "avant garde" is a cocky treat in the world of music that should never stand alone devoid of actual songs of good songwriting value. People would rather seemingly have a hard time accepting scene kids for their style and approach as oppose to their attitude; this is basically of the same recipe.
After coming to my musical senses, I realized this album is sweet. These guys know what they're doing. I gave it a lower rating the first time I heard it a few years ago, but I gave it a listen again this year and it's just awesome. Not their best album, in my opinion, but a very innovative and interesting piece of work.
