pop punk/rock bands should take some cues from this album. ridiculously catchy, instruments balanced out with the vocals (yet aren't banal like post-grunge rock), and even some of old school rock throwbacks every now and then.
Superchick's latest album is a frustrating one. With old-school rock throwbacks abound, combined with modern pop rock, Rock What You Got starts with an interesting sound. However, after the 4 hard-hitting anthems (and with the exception of Cross The Line) it quickly becomes redundant and tepid after Hold On. Although, it does seem to grow on me, far more than expected.
