Like a lot of demos in metal, the production is a big factor of influence to new ears. I am no exception. Many a metal demo has simply been disregarded by me purely because of just how raw the sound is. But with this band, you can see that that's what they were aiming for, and it doesn't subtract from this demo hardly at all. The songs are creepy, spine-tingling, and bone-scraping, and given the raspy scratches on the songs, you can feel the atmosphere this demo provides, and it's one of the best i've ever heard; or should I say felt?

Depravity's best work. The production job here does a better job of conveying the kind of sound they were going for on Silence of the Centuries (the title track here is better than that EP). In Death's Embrace however is in the top 5 Finnish Death Metal songs, it is everything that makes the scene amazing.
