4.0 excellent | vaquero | May 24th 08 | Tally Hall show a great appreciation and knowledge of music and harmony. They feel and sound like an a capella group that couldn't contain their music to vocal chords.
The group started years ago making short comedic videos and some music (a few of the songs on the album, most notably Banana Man, come from this period) and I was hooked even then, though more by their clever wit than the music. When I heard they had released a full album I was surprised, since I only associated them with their videos, but honestly this album is worth checking out.
Their album is not only a fun ride, but a talented one as well, and worth looking into for anyone who appreciates vocal harmony and clever lyrics.

3.5 great | NoMoreDiminishedChords | July 1st 06 | They show very little musical talent but I think they could be big on a Different Label. This Album is very fun and catchy

3.5 great | Monstar1790 | May 24th 08 | This album could have been perfect if they had spent more time writing songs and cutting some of the more forgettable material, like "Two Wuv" and "Just Apathy". If they get enough time to figure it out, Tally Hall's next album could be this generation's "Sgt. Pepper's", and I'm not kidding when I say that. Just listen to future classics like "Good Day", "Taken for a Ride" and "Spring and a Storm". This band's extremely talented, they just need to learn how to channel that talent into more brilliant songs and less half-baked ideas like "Haiku".

4.5 superb | MorningView425 | January 10th 08 | I came across Tally Hall several months ago and listened to the first few songs on the album without much thought. After spending a lot of time in the car lately with nothing else to do other than listen to music, I checked out the whole album and I'm completely hooked. I disagree with the other statement regarding their musical talent...you can tell these guys really know what they're doing. They don't take themselves seriously at all, which is really refreshing. They have a great sense of flair to their music, which is full of "queenesque" harmonies. I definitely recommend them to everyone.
