With lack of nuance that an "ambi-djent" album promises and predictable riffs, Intervals do not set themselves too far apart from other rising instrumental metal projects out there. With that being said, there are some decent tracks on here, but no stand-outs.
Most bands within the "djent" parameters place major emphasis on palm muting but use it way too much. This one (however) does it right; Intervals consummately juxtaposes melodic arrangements and technical guitar-work and as a results crafts an incredibly relishable progressive metal exploit. The Space Between features an exuberant guitar performance that in conjointment with it's polished production & lustrous mixing brings into existence a clear sailing event inside the sluggish "djent" scene.
