Incredibly powerful vocals and instrumentation tightly juxtaposed to the heavy electronics isn't a new aspect to the genre, but Crown the Empire have pulled it off spectacularly, putting forward an album that shows massive improvement from their demos and continues to help them assert their place as a powerful and upcoming band.
this band is really awesome if you like modern post-hardcore (Mix of clean vocals and
breakdowns - used well and in the right places) I could see this band really exploding with
their debut LP
I know there is a whole lot of people who despises the new genre "Post Hardcore/Electronica" but this band is something very special. They only have a couple singles out but the songs are very well made and it has the perfect mix of techno sequences. Also, like some bands they don't over abuse the electronica sound. I highly suggest this band to anyone and if your fans of bands like Attack Attack! or Abandon All Ships, then Crown The Empire is a band sent from heaven!
