Though not as raw as their previous albums, Jawbreaker's major label debut and final album
ranks as one of the finest from the decade in my eyes. Blake's deeply personal and poetic
lyrics are at his best and are what initially drew me into Dear You. Most tracks are slower
tempo but tracks like 'Bad Scene Everyone's Fault' and 'Save Your Generation' sound like
Jawbreaker of old albeit slightly more refined. A classic album full of introspective lyrics
and memorable songs; a fitting end to an incredible band.
