Wow! Talk about being pummeled into submission! This is one of the heaviest post-metal albums I have ever heard. The album is so heavy that you kind of have to mentally prepare yourself before you listen to it. And you can't listen to it on everyday because of how dark the lyrics are. Standouts include Receiver, Genesis, & Leash. The only thing that keeps this album from being a 5 are the vocals which sound like are sometimes drowned out by the instruments and the album being so long. However, if you can get past the vocals being unaduible at times and the music being unrelentingly heavy, this is post-metal at its best. Not for the weak at heart, this is a metal man's album.
