3.0 good | Muikuli | January 8th 09 | I have a similiar story to what spamwise said. I had heard good things of this pioneer of progressive metal so I just bought the album at a local store. Not everything here strikes me, but the albums has some great tracks, especially the opener "Queen of Reich". If you are used to the high vocals which were in some fashion in the 80s, you'll like the singer too. To me, his performances vary from fantastic to slightly irritating.
Nevertheless, a good collection of songs, but I think you'd be better off getting one of their best albums. "Operation Mindcrime" for example.

5.0 classic | Spamwise | June 21st 06 | A few months ago I went to a local Wal*Mart, and saw an album staring back at me, "Queensryche: Greatest Hits". I bought it that day. I am very happy i did. This is a wonderful compilation of songs. This album contains songs from Queensryche's beginning such as Queen of the Reich, to their classics such as I Don't Believe in Love, Silent Lucidity, and Jet City Woman. However, the one downside to this album is that you don't get the same feel of the songs on the actual albums, where the song fades into the next. Regardless, this is a great CD for anyone interested in Queensryche. I suggest you go buy it now!
