A more than accomplished live performance (or group of performances) by the infamous MKIV.
Half of it comes from a 1975 concert at the Budokan, Japan and the the other half is from a
1976 Longbeach concert. Even if the Japan concert does not really show the best of Tommy
Bolin (he had fallen asleep on his hand hence not being able to move it much) the overall
band performance is outstanding. Particularly so for a band which would eventually (and less
than 6 months later) disband for 8 years.A great live album for MKIV, a higly underrated
Purple incarnation.
