A very bad album, missing any of the pop rock flourishes that Don't Forget displayed in spades. R&B is the choice genre this time round, and the more urban collaborations do nothing to improve her previously mature image.
Demi Lovato's newest record really showcases her powerful voice in all its majesty, picking up where the past two records left off, but changing her sound so much that you would not even recognise it. This rejuvanated style of R&B really does work perfectly with Demi at the helm, and it is an absolute pleasure to listen to, as well as being one of the best albums that i have ever heard.
This is definetly not her best. I was actually hoping she would come out with something decent (for disney at least) and skyscraper was a good first single that showcased her voice, but this was really disapointing. Tracks 2-4 are terrible and the album doesn't get that much better. I was actually hoping to hear some of her own songwritting but it seems there's not much of that either.
