I'd like to point out that two of these tracks (Mandala and Progress) have the same name as two Rx Bandits albums. I can definitely see some influence.

A neat experiment that in my opinion resulted in a fairly boring product. However, although it's the worst EP, it's still a pretty good listen. A testament to the excellence of the entire collection.

I would say as of now this is my favorite EP in the Spectrum. Never seeing TDH make electronic music of this level, it was definitely anticipation well paid off to finally hear!

This one's intriguing. It's still unmistakably TDH, but with an electronic and spacey instrumentation. I like the attempt at doing something different, but it doesn't entirely work for me. Still quality shit though.

The standout from the whole project and really from The Dear Hunter's music in general. The Indigo EP is electronically-drenched with thick synths, clear production, and a spacey and atmospheric sound. I would be curious on hearing Casey create more music akin to this. "Progress" exudes all the best qualities of this EP.

Absolutely stunning, a contrast piece to "Black". Black was one of my favorites for its electronic/studio wizardry, and this EP is a lighter, less evil version of that EP. Really atmospheric and beautiful, however the one thing I'm still missing is more rock dynamics to compliment the brilliant electronica vibe on here. Still, possibly the most lush and pretty of the eps, but Im not sure The Dear Hunter should be playing this style.

This is so fucking boring. I'm sorry, but I've listened to it five times through, both stoned and sober, and I just do not understand the fuss over this. Neither this particular EP, nor the compilation as a whole. It's all so bland and average; epic in scope, true, but the music is not nearly interesting or powerful enough to bare the burden of the record's length. I tried. I really did.
