Too familiar, too homogeneous, and often boring. Also, the lyrics almost make this seem like a parody of emo rather than the real thing. There are some decent moments nonetheless.
This album has a funny way of becoming a good friend right off the bat. When I first heard this I could relate to what the lyrics had to say and was comforted that there are people out there that have this kind of passion and talent to make their art stick with people. It's weird, but I sort of felt like listening to this album was like listening to a close friend tell me what was on their mind.
