It's like Kitaro had a threesome with a Super Nintendo and some really artsy Brooklyn chick. Okay, a foursome. There was a MIDI keyboard involved. And then the product of that foursome met up with a drummer and a bassist and some other people, and made this album. Really, really good stuff.
Best release yet, in my opinion. Glass Jar is my favorite GGD song and one of my favorite songs of all time. I think it was foolish of them to begin the album with such a standout, but it is still a great album on all accounts.
Listenable dance rock/electronica mixed with odd dubstep style beats and percussion. The vocals are a bit offputting as well; tinny female robot vocals surrounded by bubbling, glitchy synths. Not something I'd listen to unless I was high on opium or mushrooms.
