not as good as debut, a lot of motionsgoing riffs and apparently no ideas as they end with not one but 2 covers. starts to get the typical bg sound (unfortunately), another poster child for why you dont try releasing an album every year

Very great last thrash era album from Blind Guardian. Still the raw thrashy speed metal from their early years, however improved in terms of aggression, songwriting, riffage, and everything really from the debut. They also start introducing the epic melodies and virtuosic instrumentation they?ll come to be known for.

Follow the Blind has a constant high tempo and is tougher and thrashier than its predecessor. Hansi's vocals and the overall production are improved but still I found the album somehow weak on melodies. Recommendations: "Valhalla", "Banish From Sanctuary"
