One night, I decided to download some modern pop albums. Not to my surprise, plenty of them were decent. But there was a fair share of material that sucked, and hard too. Ashlee Simpson's I Am Me is terrible. It's pop garbage all the way through, and it's clear that Ashlee WANTS to be some pop icon for little preteen girls, but at this rate, she's simply failing. Sure, "Boyfriend" is catchy, but most of the other stuff is simply terrible. There may be certain moments of some songs that are good, but these moments come few and far between.
