A post-punk masterwork in every respect. One of the most underrated LP's ever! Dark, catchy, atmospherics buttressed by gothy-pop and 80's ambience with incisive and relevant lyrics. From The Chameleons to Interpol, to For Against to Beastmilk....an awful lot of bands owe a debt to this LP!
This album is so under-rated. I guess because of the awful cover artwork - such horrible colours. There is only one bad track "Goat of the West", The album should be counted as one of the great goth albums - dark, dreary and depressing.
