The atmospheres on this record really are stunning. I guess my main issue with Ephemeral is that the music feels like it lacks a proper context-- I feel like I'm watching a Hollywood blockbuster in IMAX, graphics stunning as ever, but without a central character to guide me through it all. There are some fulfilling tracks here for sure though. One that comes to mind is "Diagrams". Definitely check this out if you enjoy Solar Fields and/or Aes Dana.
