Portugal. The Man really broke the mold with their debut album. When i first bought it years ago i had never heard anything like it. It was catchy, well put together, strange and fresh. This album continues to influence artist today. Classic album!

I really like bands that stretch the bounds of what has already been done musically, and I'm consistantly pleased by Portugal. The Man and their crazy musical tastes, but I was disappointed that their album sort of degrades and each song starts to run into eachother.

Best cd of 2006 in my opinion. I havn't gotten this into a cd in quite some time. Only a couple tracks that I don't care for, which is pretty good considering it has 13 tracks.
