If you look carefull you will see that all song names from 1st to last are one whole sentence,"Selfconsciousness is desire and-after 38 weeks-my new playground became-dark and gray-so it feels like misunderstanding when-all my hopes and dreams turn into-affliction xxvii ii mmix". This sentence sounds really creepy, like each song on this record... There are some soft vocals and some heavy vocals that gives nice flow to each song and it fits in perfectly, production is also on a high level. Very atmospheric, dark and enjoyable album, that brings some new refreshments into post metal genre. For fans of Neurosis, Isis...
this is an absolute masterpiece. Love it. rThe vocals, style and build of the album are all brilliantly executed, there is just nothing here not to like.
This would be a five if the music wasn't so damn creepy! Album is good and all but this is not something you would want to listen to alone in the dark... That being said, the music is very atmospheric and heavy with both parts being balanced out nicely.
