There's certainly no sell-out here. With lots of emotion and not afraid to use swear words, she doesn't hold back. As a singer/songwriter CD, it's excellent. If you were expecting it to rock out, though, you'll be disappointed. Only "Kiss Ya" really rocks, and it uses a formulaic hard rock riff. Only flat out disliked "Hold On," though.
