Maybe I just don't "get" these folk influenced songs but as a whole this album doesn't really stand out as anything other than quite dull and uneventful for me. Excellent background music, that's for sure but this stuff is not the kind of music you dive head rfirst into to dissect and analyze. It's nice, acoustic songs. Nothing more, nothing less.
