The best parts of Cosmogramma are here, albeit less in the forefront. The album really listens more like Until the Quiet Comes, because the songs are very similar to UTQC and his earlier dance music tonally. However, the structures are much more like Putty Boy Strut or his dancier songs on Cosmogramma than the majority of UTQC. It's got a lot of nuances in the background, but keeps everything fast paced and beat centered. This is easily one of his best works.
Pattern + Grid World is a bit confusing for me after the masterpiece "Cosmogramma". There are 2 outstanding tracks ("Kill Your Co-Workers" with its uptempo beat and catchy 8-bit melody and head-nodding "Camera Day") two really good ("Jurassic Notion/M Theory which shows FlyLo's unique way of working with percussion and the last track: beautiful noise/synth madness "Physics for Everyone!"). The rest is average, but overally it was a tasty dessert after an exquisite dinner.
