The perfect space hardcore album. Produced by Matt Talbott of Hum, it is as if Hum, Deftones, and late 90s/early 00s hardcore mixed to synthesize this album. It is lightning in the bottle.

Outstanding post-hardcore. Really few records in the genre can match this. Musicianship flows with the screamed/clean vocals with near perfection. Imagine Poison The Well meets Early Alexisonfire without Green.

Everything about this album keeps you listening, touching every emotional tip with epic graces. "Decoys Like Curves", the albums fifth track, perfectly embodies the life of the album with it's lyrics, vocal performances, and perfect instrumentation. This is the accessibility of Underoath with a beauty they lack.

this is reallly one of the best hardcore albums ever made. every song is awesome, especially the bending, decoys like curves and dead in magazines. the artwork goes perfect with the music too. if you like hardcore at all, you should own this. its so good i cant use words to explain it to you, just go listen to it. if you don't like this you might as well jam a q tip in your ear and stab your brain because you're not a music fan anyway.

I am not a hardcore fan, but I love this stuff. This is what a hardcore album should sound like. Out of control, and loud soft dynamics are great. Songs just flow, verse-chorus structure is not felt, even if it's there. It helps Matt Talbot produced this, he's a master of layering and generally mixing guitars.

Good combination of melody and raw heavy sounds, Satellite Years featured a much more heavy vocal style than the follow up A-Types. What is really great about this album is the swing between acoustic passages and distorted riffing. The all-time shouted vocals did not fit all time though.
