big ups to Dante for putting me on this guy. this album straight up rules; combines the delivery of early Slug with the lyrical honesty of Mac Lethal and some great beats.
Lyrically this is an extremely good album and is on par with his new stuff. However the beats aren't quite as good as his current stuff. That just shows how much Ryan Lewis adds to the table.
I just got convinced to stop listening to so much damn Hova. After listening to all that fashion-rap ego-rap crap this is extremely refreshing. Maybe underground is the place for me.
