I don't think that Stone Sour have become too calm on this album. I don't get why people are saying that. It's one song more than CWM , and that song is a ballad. Fail. But I would not say it's soft or anything like that. It still has the heavy moments. In spite of that I think it can't hold the candle up to CWM, just because not one of the 4 (by the way all beautiful) ballads can replace Through Glass and Reborn stays their best song ever.
Everybody says that Stone Sour's first album is their best, but musically this is far better
than their self-titled debut. I really enjoyed some 4 or 5 songs, the rest is average but
still good.
Their previous albums were great, i heard two of the tracks that were released they sounded very original and the style sounds very aggressive just like 30/30-150.
Corey Taylor said that the album is going to be darker than 'Come What(ever) May', but a lot more melodic, and a lot stronger.
