I always love Zimmer's work and this is another quality entry into his catalog. It was a step down, in atmosphere and overall sound, from the Holmes OST in my opinion, but still very powerful and foreboding. Also, BRMMMM

People needs to stop thinking Inception was fantastic. It has some good ideas, but it's too restrained by its own rules (the perfect timing thing is absurd), lack of character development, plot holes (who and why trained Fischer, if so how come he's still deceived). As for the Soundtrack, it didn't stick, can't remember, assume that means it was average.

Forget about what the movie is about, this is just about the soundtrack. High complexity and intensity makes the soundtrack worth a listen. Take several times, not just one.

Inception's score reciprocates its drops and pulsations like a kid who just realized what they can actually do with their fancy new DJ set-up. In most regards, the very industrialized sound is just what the film calls for. Granted, it isn't a full-proof transition for consistent entrancement, but in the hands of a lesser composer, that would be the least of our concerns.

Has a lasting feeling to it. Been stuck in my head for a while now. Time is just amazing with its slow build up to its intense middle to a subtle yet effective end. Definitely the best track on here in my opinion. Made a classic movie even better.
