Pig Destroyer wants every last one of you rotting souls to realize that the ride will never stop; you're going to die experiencing Prowler in the Yard, albeit not before vomiting as many cheerleader corpses as possible. J.R. Hayes' vocals and Brian Harvey's drum work are perhaps the stars of this discord fest; the former especially, what with his terrifying lyrics which put and incinerate David Lynch to shame.
This album is one massive son of a bitch. Raw vocals, a nice crusty guitar tone and headsplitting drum playing. This album feels like getting your face dragged across the street for about 36 minutes straight.
There are a couple of things I love about this album along with other grind albums I have heard: the songs are short (for the most part), heavy, and to the point. This makes the songs that much more interesting and not repetitive. I also like the freaky intro and freaky finale of the album, good stuff.
