I do appreciate Burials trying to distance themselves from the typical metalcore outfit, but Tired Arms still lacks any originality. Vocally, you're pretty much listening to Oli Sykes except without too much range. Sure, I can deal with that but when the music layers over top, I start to lose faith. You can hear the TDWP synth filling up the empty spaces, you can hear the forced guitar leads, and you can pretty much see a breakdown coming at every corner.
