| 4.0 excellent | 1MicLight | June 29th 10 | It's a combination of Love/Hate and Love vs Money, except there's more fucking. Anyway this is probably the most cohesive album of the three, but not the most impressive (That's Love vs Money). Back to the review, I listened to the deluxe edition so I was able to soak in all the vibe The-Dream was sporting. As usual, The-Dream puts his supposedly singles up in the beginning, and it doesn't hurt. It begins with Love King, which is very catchy. Make Up Bag is also solid, with its boom and snap beat. F.I.L.A. is ok but catchy,Sex Intelligent is nice, and the remix after it is even better. The climax hits the middle, when Yamaha begins (which is awesome because its an actually good ripoff of Prince). Nikki Part 2 is epic and Abyss is awesome. Toward the end it gets a bit slow, but that's just my taste. Turnt Out is like a sequel to Falsetto, February Love is icy cold. The album ends with a funny Florida University, with The-Dream saying F-U. The bonus tracks off the deluxe versions, well are deserved to be bonus tracks since they don't fit in with the album. However they are nice tracks, like Veteran , the great piano beat of Take Care of Me, and the smooth Sorry. I encourage anyone to get this album. Even though it's not perfect, it's enjoyable and The-Dream is one of the few mainstream RnB artists that actually have a cohesive album, unlike the likes of others who just smack singles on their albums without realizing it just disrupts the tempo. Anywho, get it!
